Hashbx.com has been reported to local Thai Police as scam
Bangkok, 4 Mar 2019. Local investors flocked to Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD) in Thailand yesterday reporting as suspected scam of Bitcoin cloud mining (hashbx.com).
An estimated loss of 52 Million baht ($1.7 million USD) has been claimed from 2 group of investors.
The first group were those who invested with the company for expected return of 2 to 30% per day. However, they found out later that the returns were not in accordance with the said promised.
TSCD police will gather more information on the issue and will later find out what charges can be pressed on the company.
Scammed investors reported that they have invested in this mining site since 4 Nov 2017. In Feb 2018 the company has changed the Bitcoin withdrawal policy many times which now it is impossible to obtain Bitcoin from their accounts.
The returns from investments were also being delayed and finally no payment has been made at all even though the website still publish their daily withdrawal rate.
